Music and Lyrics by Eric M. Pazdziora (based on Isaiah 35)

lyrics

There’s a river that flows in a dry, thirsty land,
There’s a flower that grows in a desert of sand,
There’s a flood that is rising from a bottomless spring,
The wilderness places rejoice and they sing.

There’s a place where the slaves will all be set free,
The lame leap for joy, and the blind eyes can see:
The deaf and the dumb are restored, and they sing
To the suffering servant, the conquering king:

CHORUS:
Hallelujah
To the Lord of the New Creation;
Hallelujah,
The Lord has made everything new.

The weak will be strong and the weary will rise,
The blind receive sight and they open their eyes
To see that the world has been changed from above,
By the river that flows and brings mercy and love;

So follow the highway that leads to the place
Where we’ll all sing for joy at His glory and grace;
No sin will be found there along all the way,
For we follow the one who will wash it away,

(Chorus)

We’ll be crowned with a joy to which none can compare,
No sorrow or sadness will ever be there,
And we’ll sing to the Lord when His glory we view,
To the praise of the one who makes everything new,

(Chorus)
